A Conversation with Victor Luckerson

Named one of the New York Times’ 100 Notable Books of 2023, Victor Luckerson will chat with University of Richmond History Professor Edward Ayers about his book: "Built from the Fire: The Epic Story of Tulsa’s Greenwood District, America’s Black Wall Street."

This event will take place in the Brown Alley Room on Tuesday, March 26th at 5:30 P.M. 

Journalism Students Cover Virginia Election Results

Shahan Mufti, associate professor of journalism, won the J. Anthony Lukas Work-in-Progress Award and was a finalist for an Edgar Alan Poe Award for his book American Caliph: The True Story of a Muslim Mystic, a Hollywood Epic, and the 1977 Siege of Washington, D.C.
